Neighborhood Meals
Every Wednesday at 7:30 PM, we come together at the Burien Transit Center with our crockpots, baked goods, and signature warm drinks to share a homestyle dinner with our neighbors in need.
The menu often includes items such as specialty mac and cheese, hearty chili, vegetarian options, and even quesadilla night.
In addition to water and cold drinks, hot cocoa, coffee, mocha, and hot cider are also available.
Community Connection
Burien is a beautifully inclusive and supportive community at its core. At Wednesday Night Supper Club, we are committed to embodying those community values.
Being connected to community means fostering a sense of safety and welcome among friends and neighbors.
By continuing to show up for our neighbors each week, our kind and dedicated volunteers are part of what makes Burien a place so many of us are grateful to call home.
Health &
Wellness
The volunteers at Wednesday Night Supper Club have recognized survival requires a layered approach. We have been able to provide necessities such as clothing, personal items, sleeping bags, and tents.
In partnership with Washington Health Outreach, our pet-loving volunteers have been active in making veterinarian services accessible.
We hope to grow these efforts with our friends at other local organizations to continue to contribute to our neighbors' health and wellness. Please visit our Local Resources page for more information.
Ongoing Support
Wednesday Night Supper Club is a consistent support system that continues to foster community engagement each week.
Because people congregate for dinner, case managers and other support staff have been able to connect with people who may have fallen through the cracks.
At Wednesday Night Supper Club, we believe that community support goes hand in hand with the simple act of sharing a meal. We thrive on the gathering of friends and neighbors who join us in sharing hot, hearty meals every Wednesday. We're more than just some tables and chairs—we're a gathering place where friendships blossom, stories are shared, and a sense of belonging is fostered.
